We just came back from our Michigan trip.
It was a trip filled with race cars and some shopping.
My husband and I spent the weekend with his Mom and StepDad.
First day of the races!
Nationwide race day.
Here we are headed down to the pits.
We get to check out the race cars up close and watch some qualifying right up close.
And even see a few of the drivers up close. Any guesses who this guy is?
His brother drives the "candy car".
Yup, its Kurt Busch.
Unfortunately him and Danika did not have a good race.
Speaking of Candy Car...
They are doing inspections on the race cars for the races. My son and husband both are big fans of Kyle Busch. Im pretty sure my son only likes him because of the candy on his car.
This is Landon Cassill. He is my Nephews favourite car. So couldn't leave with out a picture.
While waiting for the race to begin, there was lots to do outside of the track. Lots of shopping and cars on display. We of course bought shirts for us and the Kids at home.

There were a few crashes. Mostly involving Kurt Busch and Danika Patrick. Like I said they didn't do too well.
