Day 2 of our trip was a little more wet than the first day.
Around 11 while we were in the Pits the rain came pouring down.
Luckily around 1 o'clock these guys finally came out!
Can you guess what it is? Its a huge Jet engine on the back of a truck out on the track drying up all the rain. There was about 4 of them out there.
Luckily by 3 all the race cars were out and ready to race!
Shortly after 3 and they are off!!
This guy here seemed to be a crowd favourite. He also happens to be my MIL's favourite too.

Unfortunately for my husband "Candy Car" (Kyle Busch) spent a lot of time in the pits being repaired.
And unfortunately for me, Denny Hamlin caught on fire. Its hard to see but he burst into flames coming down pit lane.
And the fan favourite won the race!
Customary for the winner to burn out!
The MIL was very happy!!
